It can be daunting when you want to start a new project - knowing where to begin - what supplies you will need?, where to get the best quality ingredients - at the best prices?, and where to get the packaging/containers? I am going to try to make that all easy for you - based on my years of learnings.  Before we dive in to making products, let's take some time and make sure we have everything we need.  I will post a 3 part series on Supplies, Ingredients, and Packaging.Â
Today's post will focus on what supplies you will need to make these products.  Look at the chart to see what you will need for the project. Most of you will have some of these in your kitchen cabinets already.  When looking at the list - you may think you can do without some or substitute something else to serve the purpose.  You need to make the choices that are best for you. I have a small business making these products, and a few years ago - was producing most of these products for 50 shops across the country, so I am lucky enough to be well stocked with supplies. Â
I did a lot of shopping on Amazon for many of these supplies, and I have devoted them just for making product - and none of them get used in my actual kitchen.  I also don't make product in my kitchen, and therefore use the induction burners in my workspace, you won't need these if you are going to be in your kitchen - as long as you have an old pot large enough to use a 4 cup Pyrex in for a double boiler set up.   I have linked some of the supplies below.  The next post will highlight the ingredients most frequently used in making your own personal care/household products, but will also be all inclusive taking all products on the list into consideration.  I will be sharing my suppliers, and you won't want to miss it!
